If you encounter the following error while attempting to back up, just use the instructions below to correct the problem and back up as normal!

Error Message:

There is a problem with the Windows Registration database.

Unable to access the services of the OLE backup/restore server. The required OLE files have not been properly installed and registered with Windows. 16 OLE Registration Error

OR

There is no object in this control.

1. Close People's Choice Accounting for Windows (PCAW).
2. Go to your Windows explorer and find your PCWIN folder.
3. Double click to open the folder and find the file titled "Olereg.bat".
4. Simply double click on that file to execute it and click the OK button each time the prompt appears.
5. When the batch file is finished running just click the X in the upper right corner to close the DOS window.
6. Re-enter PCAW and back up!
