Setting your system date to display four digits |

The setting for a four digit date is defined by a selection in your Windows 95 or Windows 98 configuration. To verify your computer is set to display a four-digit year complete the following steps and make the appropriate changes if necessary. 1. Close all programs and click the Start button on your Windows Taskbar 2. Choose the Settings option by highlighting it with your mouse 3. Select Control Panel from the drop down list by clicking on the title once 4. When the Control Panel window is open, locate the Regional Settings icon and double click 5. From the Regional Settings Properties window, pick the Date Tab by clicking on it once 6. Check the Short Date Style field in the middle of the screen 7. Make sure the setting displayed contains a four-digit year 8. If you need to change the default setting, simply click on the combo box to the right of the field and select one of the appropriate options (i.e., M\d\yyyy, MM\dd\yyyy) 9. Once you have made your selection, click the Apply button at the bottom of the screen 10.Then click the OK button to exit This will ensure proper usage of the People's Choice system and possibly other software packages! |
