Balance Errors when Closing the Month |

If you receive a balance error when closing the month follow the
instructions below. If you continue receiving errors after running
the GWREPOST and BALTEST please call the Technical Support Center at
888-221-7905.
INSTRUCTIONS for RUNNING UTILITIES Version: People's Choice 4.2 and 5.0 Be sure you have a CURRENT backup of your data. If you do not have a current backup, complete one before proceeding on a newly formatted set of diskettes. DO NOT back up over your most recent set of backups. Complete the following steps:
Please note any error messages you receive. In the event of fatal system errors, please print or copy them down, and call for support at 888-221-7905, or fax the errors to 712-262-0281. After completing the utility steps, follow the instructions for the GWREPOST & BALTEST.

The following utility can take from thirty (30) minutes to several hours, depending on the amount of data you have. If you need to complete other work, you may wish to finish this process when time is not critical.
